Become a Showroom Partner

Akumbia Lodge is becoming a living showroom for Black design. We’re looking for makers and designers from Africa, the Caribbean and the diaspora whose work belongs in a real home, used by real guests and credited by name. We promote your work and send interested guests straight to you. We don’t sell it for you.

What we’re looking for

We are seeking products and expertise across the interior design of Akumbia Lodge, with a focus on Black-owned businesses and African and Caribbean makers.

Established brands, independent studios and individual craftspeople are all welcome. Products should complement the design direction and be suitable for regular guest use.

How it works

  1. Apply with the form below. A finished proposal isn’t needed.

  2. We reply within [48 hours: confirm; this matches the sponsorship page].

  3. We talk fit: the design direction, the room and what each side contributes.

  4. We agree the scope in writing.

  5. Your work is installed and photographed [timeline: add, or say “we’ll confirm dates with you”].

  6. You’re featured in the lodge, online and in our updates.

Could your work belong at Akumbia Lodge?

Tell us about your business, the products you create or supply, and how you would like to participate. You do not need a finished sponsorship proposal to begin the conversation.
